Mischa Barton To Hook It Up on SVUwww.tvguidemagazine.com/kecks-exclusives/mischa-barton-to-hook-it-up-on-svu-3624.htmlMischa Barton To Hook It Up on SVU By William Keck January 04, 2010 02:35 PM EST Where do you go after playing a glamorous model named Sonja Stone on The CW’s short-lived The Beautiful Life? How about to Law & Order: SVU as a hooker named Gladys? SVU executive producer Neal Baer has been twittering teases about Mischa’s casting with the clues: Bongo, Singer and Austin. The Texas/Bongo clues got me all excited that he was bringing Matthew McConaughey on to the show, but Baer called me up to exclusively reveal the casting of Mischa, who has played characters with those last three names. She played Katie Singer on Once and Again, Betty Ann Bongo on an animated series called Kablam!, and (Baer was really reaching) a character named Vicky Austin in a 2002 TV Movie called A Ring of Endless Light. (All he had to do was say Cooper, and we would have known he was talking about The OC star.) Baer says he first took a shine to Mischa when she was a kid actress in "The Sixth Sense." “She’s gone on to do amazing work both on TV and on the stage,” says Baer, who thought casting Mischa as a hooker would surprise viewers. The episode, set to air March 3 (after the Olympics conclude) will reveal that Mischa’s character is hiding a secret that will prove complicating for Mariska Hargitay’s Benson. I’d just like to be on set when the AD’s yell out, “No, I said Mischa, not Mariska!”

SVU' exclusive: 'Oz' lovers Meloni and Tergesen reunite!By Michael Ausiello Jan. 6, 2010 ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/01/06/svu-meloni-and-tergesen-reunite/It’s a reunion seven years in the making…. Lee Tergesen is reteaming with ex-Oz lover Chris Meloni in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU, sources confirm to me exclusively. Tergesen is playing a deranged religious zealot suspected of murder. An SVU insider says you can expect “lots of sweaty interrogation scenes between Meloni and Tergesen.” Just like old times! This will mark the first time Meloni and Tergesen have worked together since Oz went off the air in 2003.

I never saw Oz so I dont know who the actor is but geez..a deranged religious zealot? Is Baer following his hatchet job on talk show hosts with a diatribe against religion? Just give me a good old fashioned SVU case circa season 1-6 and forgoet the op-ed stuff...

SVU's Bringing Sexy BackBy William Keck February 01, 2010 01:06 PM EST www.tvguidemagazine.com/kecks-exclusives/svus-bringing-sexy-back-3936.htmlSexy surprises await Law & Order: SVU detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) when the long-running NBC drama returns on Wednesdays at 10pm after the Olympics. “We are very happy to move back to our old time period after 10 years [of being on the air],” says executive producer Neal Baer, who is taking full advantage of the later hour. First up: Kathy Griffin guest stars on March 3 in one of two back-to-back episodes as a militant lesbian named Babs Duffy who plants one on an undercover Benson. “Yes, we have a lesbian kiss,” Kathy says. “The director told us he needed the kiss to be longer, so we ended up really making out. I was basically trying to get laid.” Kathy may also be getting some action from Chris. And expect the sweat to fly when Chris is reunited with his old Oz boyfriend, Lee Tergesen. He guest stars in the other episode as a crazed killer who attacks Mischa Barton’s hooker character, Gladys. “Chris and Lee have a pretty intense scene,” Baer says. But that’s not all. Sharon Stone appears in the season’s last four episodes, which start in late April. “She’s the new assistant district attorney and we’re calling her Jo Marlowe,” says Baer, who culled the name from his favorite actress, Kim Novak. Hollywood producers tried to rename the actress Kit Marlowe, which eventually became the name of Kim’s character on Falcon Crest back in 1987. Baer describes Jo as “a funny adrenaline junkie who loves to be in the middle of everything and shares a past with Stabler. She’s been married before and has a lot of secrets.” Any chance Sharon’s character could continue in the fall? “Well, you’ll have to see what happens to her in our season finale,” Baer says. Uh-oh!

Do you know who Jaclyn Smith is, lol. 'Cause she is an upcoming guest star also!! SVU Gets An AngelBy William Keck February 18, 2010 03:37 PM EST Once upon a time, there was a girl who worked at the police academy…and apparently had quite a long run. Thirty years after playing crime fighter Kelly Garrett on ABC’s Charlie's Angels (1976-81), ageless beauty Jaclyn Smith will be back on the case in a spring episode of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU. Still a perfect 10 at age 64, Jaclyn will play a former police officer who gets involved with Detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay). Perfect casting, if you ask me. Now my dream will really be complete if we get to see Jaclyn reprise her Kelly role on Drew Barrymore’s in-the-works new Angels series for ABC. www.tvguidemagazine.com/kecks-exclusives/svu-gets-an-angel-4081.html
