credit to Rambabe over at the Special Victims board. www.radaronline.com/exclusives/20....gitays-set-fallLaw & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay fell on her first day back to the New York City set of Law & Order: SVU. RadarOnline.com is happy to report she's already back on the horse, however. Sources told us today that Hargitay was injured on location at NYU, filming scenes with new cast member Wentworth Miller, when a scratch found her in the nearby University medical center for examination. A spokesperson for Hargitay tells us the actress did experience a minor fall, but no injury was suffered and she's already back on-set. Hargitay just committed to another season of the Dick Wolf hit, where she stars alongside actor Chris Meloni. Last year, Harigtay was hospitalized for complications stemming from a partially-collapsed lung. She recovered and returned to work in January.

here is an update provided again by Rambabe over at Special Victims unit. Mariska apparently tripped over a umbrella and required 13 stitches. I later heard from a twtter update that the stitches were on her knee. www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/0....ft_waiting.htmlTwice a 'mishap' victim: Mariska Hargitay’s on-set injury Wednesday wasn’t as harmless as earlier reports would have you believe. An insider tells us the “Law & Order: SVU” star received 13 stitches after tripping over an umbrella while filming in the Meatpacking District. “There were medics on the scene, but she left for the hospital in a waiting SUV,” says a witness. “The scene [with co-star Chris Meloni] kept filming.” Hargitay is calamity-prone: She was hospitalized twice last year for complications stemming from a partially collapsed lung. A rep for the star denied that the injury was serious.
