Looks like Mariska is the latest to fall victim to this fraud.

Received e-mail from mariska.com regarding her fake "Twitter" account.

Please note that Mariska does not have a twitter, however, we are are aware of the impostor and have reported them as such. Please do not engage them by becoming a friend or follower of their profile. We will announce it here first if at any point Mariska opens her own account. For now Mariska's only official home on the web is Mariska.com

I don't tweet, but it's possible to fall for something like that elsewhere. I'll keep a sharp eye out for another impostor, though.

people get all excited and think they are talking to a "star" and imposters pray on this/

Impostors do prey on people who think they're talking to a star. I think they also prey on teenagers, both male and female.

i saw that fake Mariska on twitter and then the next day i saw that whoever put it up was a fake and got the boot for good!
