heartbreaking news. This is more proff that the disease of addiction wants you dead. RIP Whitney.

I remember watching all those True Hollywood Stories about John Belushi, Elvis Presley, and others and Whitney's death reminds me of how the stars in the old days had people who "took care" of them, and not necessarily in a good way. It didn't help that her then-husband's drug problems affected her, either.

this was odd, they played the Bodyguard Sunday night and I only caught a few mins of it but the one part I did catch it was Whitney saying "when your time is up, it's up, right?" how odd that's the part I caught of the whole movie.
Also I know a lot of people are laying blame with Bobby, but Whitney was her own person and chose to do what she did. I know people can influence you but in the end you make your own decisions in life.

Whitney had the disease of addiction. It wanted her dead and it won. With out a good 12 step program and the admission that one is powerless over drugs/alcohol recovery chances are almost nil. Trust me on this.
