Yeah it has been. But it's all for good things! Got my other paper back last Thursday and got a 100% on it and have a fairly big project due this Thursday. Hopefully we'll be able to do well since it's going to be a group effort thing. Fingers are crossed that we'll do just fine and get a good grade!

Thank you, thank you. -does a silly bow- That one sure made my eyes go crossed, but it was worth it. Been keeping eyes out on the new chick that was hatched yesterday in the midst of house cleaning. Next three days are important until we know that it's going to have a bigger chance to survive and the parents are feeding it.

Let us know how the chick is doing, Liz.

Chick is going great and parents are taking care of it like they have been doing it forever! Still calling it Bugger and I think that's going to stick. It still looks like a mutated multi-antenna alien though, until it starts to grow feathers. Did a presentation today and was told I did well, considering I was nervous as hell. What really didn't help was that one of my partners in it the project was not here today, high chance she had her baby, so Danielle and I had to work out who was going to say her part. All good fun and, thankfully, no projects due next week.

If you get a chance post some pix of "bugger" and congrats on your presentation.

Been trying to get picture of the little one, but momma's been sitting on it the majority of the time. Which is a good thing. Once she settles down again (leaves the nest for some food), I'll try to sneak a pic or two of the little one. Good news is, eyes are starting to open, getting more feathers and getting louder every day. Makes my ears ring sometimes, but it's a good sign for it's healthy enough to screech like that.
And thank you! Can't wait to see my grade on Thursday, if she has it ready that is.

Oh it was. Since one of my partners wasn't there, Danielle and I had to find a way to work in what in her parts. I tried my best to show I was not nervous until I told Danielle to shut up, it's a reflex I have when I have a partners in a project. She had told me she was laughing really hard in the inside. The professor did make a note of it, but I didn't really care. I just wanted to sit down and hide under the table.
