I liked- and still like -that she was a funny girl, in the vein of Lucille Ball. I don't believe she had to be that skinny to succeed in show business, though. Sadly, she reminds me of Karen Carpenter, who died from a similar condition brought on by anorexia nervosa.

I read an article earlier actually two one said that appearently in the days before her death she was very sick with flu-like symptoms, vomiting and so fourth. And also she had some health problems, asthama, diabetes & a heart condition which was diagnoised in childhood, so I'm thinking maybe that her heart condition played a role in her death or even maybe her being sick..I'm leaning more towards her heart condition as being the case, but who knows.

I think even thin people can have a host of health problems later on.

certainly not good. First the media mourns these things then when these reports come out they blast them and forget about them. This will be Heath Ledger revisited.

True. Let Brittany rest in peace. She doesn't need that nonsense right now. It's interesting about the diabetes, though. Some obese and thin people have been diagnosed as diabetics and can develop a host of health problems. Diabetes runs in both sides of my family and I have to take care how much sugar I eat.

Honestly, if she was a drug addict a very sad thing to die from but it was her choice and I personally do not think less of someone for the choices they make.
