I love his fro from the Off the Wall album cover. I'm thinking of playing the CD at a school reunion I'm co-planning for 2011.

Coroner rules Jackson's death homicide
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that the Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide.
The finding makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.
The official says the coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died in his rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.
Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol in Jackson's system along with two sedatives, the official says.
Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician, is the target of a manslaughter probe headed by Los Angeles police.
THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. From AP International

If that doctor isn't given life in prison for this or the death penalty then there is no justice.

Ever since I heard of Michael's death, I thought, hangers on killed him, the way they did when they hung around Elvis. it didn't help that a lot of Dr. Feelgoods were among those hangers-on.

I want that doctor Murry I don't know if I should even call him doctor because to me he isn't. I want the man is prison for life, there's no excuse for what he did to Michael...I mean seriously what doctor leaves a patient alone after pumping the person full of meds I mean come on no responsbile doctor does that. He shouldn't have left Michael alone who the hell cares about his phone calls or bathroom breaks...see the man can't even keep his stories straight. The bottom line is the patient is more important than anything else and he should've stayed with him to make sure he was okay or not even given Michael the drugs at all..those meds from my understanding are powerful. I hate to say this, but Michael trusted people way too much. The man needed help and no one was helping him they were just feeding him more and more drugs. I do think all his doctors are responsbile for his death, they never once tried to help him or get him help...a bunch of morantic idiots!! sorry I'm just upset by all this.

I agree with both of you girls and Almeda, this does remind me of the hanger=ons that helped kill Elvis.

Marilyn Monroe might not have had as many hangers-on, but she was used in such a way that it destroyed her, I think. Same goes for Anna Nicole Smith who also died of a drug overdose.

Good observations. It is so sad what can happen.

Yeah, and it makes fans and people who work in the health profession angry that somebody would enable all kinds of drug use, including the abuse of propofol. Who uses propofol to help himself or herself sleep?
