so true. As part of the "heavy metal" generation I think turned out OK even thought I listended to Judas Priest and Megadeth with a side of rap

It has always been my theory that those of a normal mental status can listen to or watch anything and it won't affect them adversely. It it those who are unstable that can do harm to themselves or others with what they watch.
We can't censor everything from everybody and have to use common sense.

well but that would be using common sense and who wants to do that?

LOL! I used to listen to Madonna when I was a preteen and a teen, but now I'm ready to scream "Enough! Give it up already, Madonna!" I'll take Joan Jett and Tina Turner over Madonna any day. The old school rap still rocks for me, though.

OMG can I second that thought on Madonna? And man she is NOT aging well!

Benstabler, you can second that thought on Madonna. I thought I was the only one who thought she wasn't aging well. I used to like her when she was controversial and thumbing her nose at authority types, but now I think she's overdone it.

It sounds awful, but I think she's overdone it. Joan Jett, also the same age, is aging well because she's stayed true to herself. Nothing pretentious about her.

I totally agree ladies about Madonna. She is aging poorly and acting like an idiot along with it. I agree Joan Jett is doing well.
Now I believe this is Ice-T's strong point too. He is aging well and looks damn good for almost 51. He has remained true to himself and has made wise choices along with it. All that spells success and I applaud him for it.

He is aging well, for sure. It's nice to know that we do get better looking as we get older, without resorting to plastic surgery and other gimmicks.

what I don't get about Madonna is people acting like she is SO beautiful! I don't get it!

LOL..I never thought she was pretty even way back in her early days. Couldn't see what the fuss was all about.

me either. She looked better then and I know it was about her style but even in the late 80's with the platinum hair...yuk

She's still trying to prove that she still has it by changing her look every so often. I'm all for learning something new, but I'm also for keeping some stuff private.

I wonder what would happen if-or when- you get Joan Jett and Ice-T in a recording studio together. LOL! That would rock! Two musicians from different genres who are still rocking and rapping.
